Effective November 8, 2026
This Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) explains how LIKE A KING INC., a New York corporation (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information in connection with the website at likeakinginc.com, the enquiry form, the REGES AI concierge and related communications (together, the “Site”). It also describes the choices and rights available to you. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service. This Notice is our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CCPA”), and our privacy policy under the California Online Privacy Protection Act.
1. Scope and who we are
1.1 Controller. For personal information collected through the Site, the Company determines the purposes and means of processing and is the “business” or “controller” under applicable law. Our office address is One World Trade Center, Suite 8500, New York, NY 10007, United States.
1.2 Client data. When we process personal information on behalf of a Client while performing Services, we act as that Client’s service provider or processor. That processing is governed by the Client’s own privacy notice and the applicable Engagement Agreement, not by this Notice. Individuals whose information we process for a Client should direct requests to that Client.
1.3 Business context. The Site is directed to businesses. Much of the information we receive relates to individuals acting in a professional capacity. Some laws treat business-contact information differently; we apply this Notice to it unless a law provides otherwise.
2. Personal information we collect
2.1 Information you provide through the enquiry form
Your name and work email address (required);
Your company name and telephone number (optional);
The practice or service you are interested in (required), and, if you choose to provide them, an estimated budget range, a timeline and how you heard about us;
The project details and any other information you include in your message (required).
2.2 Information you provide to REGES
The messages you type into the REGES concierge and the conversation context needed to answer them. You do not need to identify yourself to use REGES, and we ask that you do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information.
2.3 Information from correspondence and engagements
If you correspond with us after an enquiry, we collect the contents of that correspondence, scheduling details, and business information exchanged in preparing a proposal or Engagement Agreement, including billing contact details.
2.4 Information collected automatically
Internet protocol (IP) address and request headers, which our servers use to deliver pages, to apply rate limits to the enquiry form and REGES, and to detect abuse;
Technical and log data generated by our hosting and security infrastructure, such as browser type, device and operating system, referring page, requested pages, date and time, and error information;
Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party analytics on the public Site.
We do not collect precise geolocation. An IP address may indicate an approximate region.
3. Sources of personal information
We collect personal information directly from you; automatically from your browser or device when you use the Site; from our service providers that host, secure and operate the Site; and, where you are a Client contact, from your organization. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.
4. How we use personal information
To receive, review and respond to enquiries, to prepare estimates and proposals, and to communicate with you about a potential or existing engagement;
To operate REGES and generate its replies;
To enter into, perform and administer Engagement Agreements, including invoicing and collection;
To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site and REGES, including quality review of concierge conversations, debugging and capacity planning;
To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms;
To keep business records and to comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations;
To establish, exercise or defend legal claims and to protect the rights, property and safety of the Company, our Clients and others;
For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.
We do not use personal information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. Lawful bases for processing
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation or similar laws apply, we rely on the following lawful bases: (a) taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing a contract, when we respond to enquiries and provide Services; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Site, responding to business enquiries, developing our business, and defending legal claims, balanced against your rights and interests; (c) compliance with legal obligations; and (d) your consent, where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
6. The REGES concierge and artificial intelligence
6.1 How REGES works. REGES is an automated assistant. When you send a message, the conversation is transmitted to a third-party AI model provider or routing service, which may include OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI or another provider we select, to generate a reply. Replies are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a person before they are shown to you.
6.2 What we keep. When concierge logging is enabled, we store your most recent question and the reply so that our team can review quality, correct errors and improve the service. Before a question is written to our records, text that appears to be an email address or telephone number is automatically replaced. Replies are filtered in the same way before they reach you.
6.3 No training. We do not use your concierge messages to train our own or any third-party AI model, and we do not authorize our AI providers to use them for training on our behalf. Each provider processes messages under its own terms and policies, which may permit limited retention, for example for abuse monitoring. For that reason, do not enter personal, confidential, sensitive or regulated information into REGES.
7. How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information only as described below:
Service providers that act on our behalf under contractual restrictions, including cloud hosting and infrastructure (for example, Hostinger), email delivery (for example, Resend or Hostinger Mail), internal notification tools used by our team (for example, Discord), AI model providers and routers for REGES (for example, OpenRouter, Anthropic or OpenAI), payment processing for invoices (for example, Stripe), and professional advisers such as accountants and auditors;
Government authorities, courts, law enforcement or other parties where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, our Clients or others;
A prospective or actual acquirer, successor or assignee in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of all or part of our business, subject to customary confidentiality protections;
Other parties with your direction or consent.
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have disclosed the categories of personal information described in Section 10 for business purposes to the categories of service providers listed above.
8. No sale, no sharing, no targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the CCPA. We do not process personal information for targeted advertising or for profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, as those terms are used in other state privacy laws. We have not done so in the preceding twelve (12) months. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.
9. Sensitive personal information
We do not request sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you do not provide it. If sensitive personal information is provided to us, we do not use or disclose it for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you or for any purpose that would give rise to a right to limit under the CCPA.
10. California notice at collection: categories
The following describes the categories of personal information we collect, examples, and the categories of recipients to whom we disclose them for business purposes. We collect each category for the purposes described in Section 4, from the sources described in Section 3.
Identifiers: name, email address, telephone number, IP address. Disclosed to hosting, email-delivery, internal-notification and security providers.
Customer records described in California Civil Code section 1798.80(e): name, telephone number, and billing details for Clients. Disclosed to hosting, email-delivery and payment-processing providers and professional advisers.
Commercial information: the services you are interested in, budget range, timeline and engagement history. Disclosed to hosting and email-delivery providers and professional advisers.
Internet or other electronic network activity information: server and security logs, REGES conversations. Disclosed to hosting and security providers and, for REGES, to AI model providers.
Professional or employment-related information: your company name and any role you describe. Disclosed to hosting and email-delivery providers.
We do not knowingly collect biometric information, precise geolocation, audio or visual recordings of visitors, education information, or characteristics of protected classifications through the Site, and we do not derive inferences to create profiles about you.
11. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In setting retention periods we consider: whether an enquiry leads to an engagement; the duration of any Engagement Agreement and related warranty and limitation periods; tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations; the need to establish or defend legal claims; security and abuse-prevention needs; and whether you have asked us to delete the information. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement, REGES records and server logs are retained for shorter periods than records of Clients, which are retained for the life of the relationship and for a period afterward consistent with legal and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, or, where that is not feasible (for example, in backups), we isolate it from further use until deletion is possible.
12. Your California privacy rights
12.1 Rights. To the extent the CCPA applies to us, California residents have the right to: (a) know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about them, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it; (b) request deletion of personal information we collected from them, subject to legal exceptions; (c) request correction of inaccurate personal information; (d) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, although we do not sell or share it; (e) limit the use of sensitive personal information, although we do not use it for purposes that give rise to that right; and (f) not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
12.2 How to submit a request. Submit requests through the enquiry form at https://likeakinginc.com/#enquiries, stating that you are making a privacy request and which right you wish to exercise, and including the name and email address you used with us so that we can locate your information and reply to you.
12.3 Verification. To protect your information, we will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we hold, such as by confirming control of the email address you used with us. We will ask only for information reasonably necessary to verify you, and we will use it only for verification. We may decline a request that we cannot verify, and we will explain why.
12.4 Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require the agent to provide proof of your signed permission, and may require you to verify your identity directly with us, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney under the California Probate Code.
12.5 Timing. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Where the law allows us to extend that time, we will tell you.
12.6 Non-discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, provide a different level of quality, or retaliate against you because you exercised a privacy right.
13. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser, and for any profile we can associate with it, without requiring you to take further action. Because we do not sell or share personal information, the signal confirms the treatment you already receive. There is no common industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals; we do not track visitors across third-party websites, and we honor GPC as described above.
14. California Shine the Light
California Civil Code section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about the disclosure of their personal information to third parties for those third parties’ own direct-marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. You may submit a request through the enquiry form once per calendar year.
15. Other United States state privacy rights
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island and Nebraska, may, to the extent those laws apply to us, have rights to confirm whether we process their personal data, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling. Submit requests through the enquiry form as described in Section 12. If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal by submitting an appeal through the enquiry form within a reasonable period after our response. We will inform you in writing of the outcome of your appeal, including the reasons, and of any further options the law provides.
16. Visitors outside the United States
16.1 Your rights. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. Submit requests through the enquiry form.
16.2 International transfers. The Company is based in the United States, and personal information is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may not provide the same level of protection as your home jurisdiction. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK addendum, or on another lawful basis for the transfer.
17. Children
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under sixteen (16). If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, notify us through the enquiry form and we will delete it.
18. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures designed to protect personal information, appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of our business, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act. These include encrypted connections to the Site, access restrictions on our staff dashboard, rate limiting, and the automated removal of contact details from concierge records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information. If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where and as required by applicable law.
19. Third-party websites
The Site may link to websites and services operated by third parties. This Notice does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
20. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. We will post the updated Notice on the Site with a new effective date and, where a change is material, provide additional notice as required by law. We will not apply a material change to personal information collected before the change without any consent the law requires.
21. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be submitted only through the enquiry form at https://likeakinginc.com/#enquiries. We do not publish a telephone number or email address for this purpose. Postal correspondence required by law may be directed to LIKE A KING INC., One World Trade Center, Suite 8500, New York, NY 10007, United States.
